Hello

Here's who I am & what I do

I am a Public Health Professional and Researcher. I am also a Creative Writer, Creative Director, and a Photographer.

My work in Global Public Health involves identifying and solving complex social issues by building evidence through research, designing context-specific interventions, implementation, monitoring and evaluation. Some of the areas of society which my work sort to improve includes Sexual Reproductive Health, Water, Sanitation and Hygiene, Maternal Health and Child Health.

I am a firm believer in the economic empowerment of girls and women and have founded, MoonValley Foundation, an organization dedicated to the economic empowerment of girls through vocational training.

I apply creative visual storytelling and direction to highlight social justice issues as I document the lived experiences of young African people as they navigate aspects of their life such as health, love, fashion, music, and politics.

Currently, I am a PhD Population Health student at the University of Ottawa where I continue to improve my knowledge on how our social, political, and economic environment influence our behavior and then our health.

I am based in Ottawa, Canada and Accra, Ghana.
